The Homstad family is entering its second week and everything is going quite well. Henry's umbilical stump fell off two days ago and he is developing a cute little navel. He has been sleeping up to 3 hours at a stretch overnight - a fact for which his parents are extremely grateful - and his movements are becoming increasingly coordinated. Also, diaper changing is becoming less traumatic which makes those midnight feedings easier on the ears.
Today his Cousin Laine, Uncle Brent and Aunt Tamara stopped by on their way through Minneapolis. Laine was quite taken with "baby" and wanted to help any way she could, although she's just a bit young to hold him yet. Henry thought that Laine was really cool and he wants to be just like her when he grows up.
