A few pictures from our trip. In fact, we haven't completed our trip yet as we are currently in the Detoit airport getting bounced around from flight to flight, trying to make our way back to Omaha. We're hopeful that we'll make a flight to Minneapolis at 7:12, and then a 10:45 (!) flight from MSP to Omaha. Touch-down will be about 11:50 ... lovely way to ring in the new year. The ultimate goal, of course, is a safe return home. Oh -- about the photos above. There's Sarah and Henry at the entrance to Fort Sumter, then a photo of the Inn at Middleton Place where we stayed, then a family photo on the grounds at Middleton Place, and finally, Henry in Charleston. We enjoyed unseasonably warm weather in Charleston (75 deg. days), we ate some very memorable and fantastic food, and traveling with Henry has been very fun. Gregg and I are glad there are two of us!
