Hunting Mushrooms

Henry went on a couple of different morel mushroom hunting expeditions out at Grandma and Grandpa's. He found and picked this one all by himself. A real keeper! (both the boy and the mushroom)

Visitors

Our wonderful friends from Minneapolis came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend. The weather was very pleasant (unusual for a Mannes-Homstad event) and so we were able to partake in some adult 4-square, nice walks, a mushroom hunt, outdoor play with the little ones, and of course, eating wonderful food. Marj's rhubarb custard pie? With Izzy's ice cream? Yeah, you probably wouldn't have liked it. (teehee)
